How to prepare classic italian Tiramisù

STEP 1

Prepare the coffee mixture:
in a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee. Set aside.

STEP 2

Make the mascarpone filling:
In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale.
Add mascarpone cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.

STEP 3

Whip the cream:
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until smooth.

STEP 4

Assemble the tiramisù:
Dip each La Mole Savoiardo into the coffee mixture briefly, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
Arrange a layer of dipped La Mole Savoiardi in the bottom of a serving dish.

STEP 5

Layering:
Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the La Mole Savoiardi layer.
Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

STEP 6

Chill:
Cover and refrigerate the tiramisù for at least 4 hours, or overnight to allow flavors to meld.

STEP 7

Serving:
Before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder.
